Energy-efficient models are designed to comply with various energy conservation programs (LEED, Green-lights, EPACT). Electronic-ballasted units reduce overall electrical consumption while actually increasing light output by 8% to 15% per lamp due to increased operational efficiency. High performance models, now discontinued, utilized ultra-high current circuitry to increase insect attracting black light emission. An Insect-O-Cutor® innovation, ultra-high current circuitry over-drove insect attraction lamps without shortening lamp life.

WALL RECESSED MODELS
Series 18204E | Series 36204E
Series 18204E and 36204E are powered by electronic-ballasted circuitry that converts normal 60 Hertz line current to 25 kHz… for increased operational efficiency — resulting in an 8% to 15% increase in light output.
Unit Design Features: The three-wire grounded cord and plug is positioned on top of unit to ensure trouble-free recessing. Tamper-resistant safety guard affixed by four removable screws. Internal metal insect collection drawer; wraparound reflector panel behind electric grid to increase black light emission; spring-loaded and fixed lampholder sets for simple lamp installation and replacement.
The safety guard has slightly larger, overlapping dimensions than the unit. The vertically beveled guard abuts firmly to the wall surface. Note: the wall recessed body is in aluminized steel metal material.
Installation: For stability, the unit body should rest atop a permanent cross-brace/platform secured horizontally within the wall opening. The unit body may be adjusted forward or backward upon brace/platform to accommodate proper wall depth. Convenient side holes allow access to a wall stud/support. Keyhole slots on the back of the unit allow for securing to a rear surface.
